Capital Impact Moves to Remote Work During Coronavirus Outbreak

Arlington, VA (March 16, 2020) –Dear Colleagues and Partners –

In accordance with recommendations to protect the health and safety of our staff, colleagues, and partners amidst the coronavirus outbreak, we wanted to inform you of the immediate operational changes instituted at Capital Impact Partners.

First and foremost, Capital Impact remains fully open for business.

However, in an abundance of caution, we have decided to have our staff work remotely until further notice. All employees are fully equipped to conduct all daily business from their homes.

Capital Impact has an established business continuity plan, but we understand there may be hiccups as we adapt to this structure. If you have any issues, please do not hesitate to reach out to your primary contact.

You may also reference our “Contact Us” or “Meet the Team” pages for contact information. We also have a “ Contact Us Form” at the bottom of our main contact page that is monitored during normal business hours by our staff.

Business Travel:

All business travel and conference attendance have been canceled until otherwise notified. Our team will do its best to work with you to schedule or participate in business-related meetings via phone or online technology.

Supporting our Communities:

Our thoughts go out to all of those who are being affected by the spread of the coronavirus. The impact on working families, small businesses, and other nonprofit organizations is stark. This is particularly true in communities of color. We are exploring ways in which we can provide additional support during this time of need.

In times of great uncertainty and anxiety, it is important that we all work together and support each other. If you have any thoughts, questions, or ideas you would like share, please do not hesitate to reach out. In the meantime, please know that we remain ever focused on our mission.
