Henry Ford Academy Student Designs His Future

Devon Yancy felt lost when it came to his academics. That changed when he discovered Detroit’s Henry Ford Academy and embarked on a life-changing journey. Devon earned a diploma and was accepted into the College for Creative Studies. Now, he is pursuing his passion for design and a bright future he never imagined.

Growing Michigan’s Good Food Future

We have a long history of supporting projects that help low-income neighborhoods access fresh and healthy food. This tradition continues with the launch of the Michigan Good Food Fund. This new initiative supports food enterprises, increases access to healthy food, sparks economic development and also creates jobs.

A Healthy Celebration in our Nation’s Capital

Join us in celebrating one of Washington, DC’s newest Community Health Care Centers. Unity Healthcare will now occupy the MLS Community Life Center and help more than 10,000 patients in this medically underserved area. Made possible through $12.5 million in New Markets Tax Credit financing, this opening was just one of our many spring milestones.

Supporting Stellar Co-op Innovation

We are excited to announce the winners of our first-ever Co-op Innovation Award. The Democracy at Work Institute and United States Federation of Worker Cooperatives split the prize of $40,000 in grants. These two organizations are true leaders in creating a thriving cooperative movement.

Capital Impact Partners in the News
