The development concept includes 200 residential units and 7,000 square feet of commercial space rising from what’s currently a vacant lot. Cassius Coleman, a principal with Atlanta-based Five Points Development, said the land deal was funded by Capital Impact Partners. According to Coleman, 25 percent of the apartments would rent for prices reserved for residents earning 80 percent of the area median income or less, while 3,000 square feet of the retail and restaurant space would be leased to underestimated tenants.
